[3rd Week] Topic & Register

This week, we will do something fun. According to Duke (I don't know his really name :d) requested, the topic of this week is:
" Can High School Sweethearts marry and live happily ever after? OR is this just another Fairy tale?". In other words, we will debate whether love in high school lasts or not .
Time: Sunday (June 15th, 2008), from 8pm to 10pm (GMT+7)

lol, I bet there are *at least* 2 people who really enjoy this topic, right Ngoc and Duke However, I do think this topic is not approriate >.< How can we debate, I mean, the topic is all about *personal stuff*, no fact, no number nor events can be used to support ideas. I mean, this topic is not rational nor neutral enough to be used as a debate topic >.<

lol, perhaps we may use it as a "discussion" after the debate. lol, I mean, we haven't used the all 2 hours >.< ( 1st time : 1h15, last time : 1h30 ). So, I think the last 30 or 45 minutes will be great for some "experienced high school lovers" share their opinion. I am totally unexperienced >.< ( poor me, lol ) , so I will be great for me to know some of your tricks =))

Yeah, yeah, darn your "khiếu thẩm định tinh tế!!!" a part of it was mine. Actually, I just advised her about love in general, not so specific like marriage. Btw Ngoc, do you think that we should change it into "Do you approve love in high school?" I think it will be more appropriate since, oh dear, we don't want to get marry this soon, you know

I surfed the web the other days and I saw some writing debate about this topic. There are many great arguments and I guess it is not a bad topic after all. Since there is Duke and me in this (Lan is in NT), it is likely that we will fail to make the Debate this time. I am waiting until Saturday morning, if more people want to change the topic, I will adjust it.

I don't really know whether we can do the Debate this week or not because it seems like nobody is going to join us at all. Besides, my spirit is so down now since my school ends. I already miss my friends. Damn it. I hate to say good bye.

I don't meet my friends for a while, too. I've just finished my high school. It's hard to have good friends like those in high school, but I'm not sure about sweathearts.
